Music Liturgy

Music Liturgy

The music liturgy at Immaculate Conception Parish desires to obtain and achieve sacred music through hymns of praise with the devoted congregation, choirs, and accomplished musicians.  With the aid of Breaking Bread through the publications of OCP, hymns of praise can be sung throughout the church from young children through adulthood.

Adult Choir

Adult Choir is the main choir for Immaculate Conception Parish. They sing the 2nd and 4th Sundays at the 9AM Mass. They practice the week before on Thursday night at 6PM. The Adult Choir does take the summer off. The choir sings a healthy mixture of new hymns, traditional hymns and choral pieces.  The choir is open to all parishioners that would like to sing and are age 16 and older.  The Adult Choir is directed by Julie Kjenstad.

Funeral Choir

The Funeral Choir is requested for many of our funerals at Immaculate Conception Parish.  The choir is open to all parishioners.

Schola Mass

The word "Schola" means small choir.  Schola Mass is targeted for the youth from Immaculate Conception School from grades 3rd through 6th.  The students have the opportunity to lector, serve, and sing at both Immaculate Conception Parish as well as Holy Name of Jesus Parish.

We have a group of individuals who cantor for the Masses. You may sing along, sing with another person(s), or sing as a family. If you are interested in cantoring for Mass, please contact the office.

If you have the gift of being an accompanist, we would love to hear from you. Our accompanists play for Mass, School Mass, Funerals and Weddings.
