Greeters

GREETER MINISTRY

As a Greeter, our primary goal is to promote a climate of friendship, acceptance, warmth and welcome to parishioners, visitors and new comers to Immaculate Conception Parish. We are the first point of contact that people have when they walk through the doors of our Church. This provides us with the opportunity to offer hospitality at its finest to each person. A SMILE and a Cheerful Hello can surely brighten someone's day. The Greeter ministry is open to men, women, and entire families.  

Arrival Time:  15 to 20 minutes prior to the start of Mass

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Before Mass 

• Check in on the sign in form when you arrive to serve your scheduled Mass.

• Only two greeters are scheduled.

• Greeters at the front entrance select a family to bring up the gifts during offertory.

• Greeters hand a Sunday bulletin to parishioners as they enter the Parish.

• Remain at the Church entrances for 5 minutes after the start of Mass.

• Be familiar with the "Immaculate Conception Emergency  Guidelines".
