Extraordinary Ministers

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are parishioners who assist with the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ at weekday, weekend and Holy Day Masses.

Through Communion, we have been chosen to share in the love and the life shared by the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Communion is about God's desire to share himself with us, his chosen son's and daughters so we may be one with each other and with the Father just as Jesus was one with the Father and is one with us. (John 17)

All ministers of Holy Communion should show the greatest reverence for the Most Holy Eucharist by their demeanor, their attire, and the manner in which they handle the consecrated bread or wine.
