Catechism of the Catholic Church

A catechism is a text which contains the fundamental Christian truths formulated in a way that facilitates their understanding. There are two categories of catechism: major and minor. A major catechism is a resource or a point of reference for the development of minor catechisms. The Catechism of the Catholic Church is an example of a major catechism. The Baltimore Catechism is an example of a minor catechism. Learn and read more about the Catechism of the Catholic Church at usccb.org

Catholic Bible

The Church encourages Catholics to make reading the Bible part of their daily prayer lives. Reading these inspired words, people grow deeper in their relationship with God and come to understand their place in the community God has called them to in himself. Study REsources

Pope Benedict once wrote that the Christian faith is, above all, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As with every relationship, growth in love entails growth in knowledge: in order to love someone more, we need to know more about them.
