Meaning “Totally Yours,” Totus Tuus is a summer program where young adults lead summer bible camps throughout the Diocese. They come in to the parish and lead programming for children and youth as well as engage the parish community through their witness. Our Catechetical themes for 2020 are the 10 Commandments and the Glorious Mysteries.

TOTUS TUUS (Totally Yours), a summer catechetical youth program led through the Sioux Falls diocese. Due to CoVid - Watertown IC Parish will not be hosting Totus Tuus for 2020. The Docese will be providing futher details regarding Family Formation and other Youth activites that will be avalible via Online.

The Philothea School of Formation is an opportunity for youth to grow deeper in their faith through community and mentorship.  They will join many other young people from across the diocese who are also committed to this journey and receive guidance from several priests and other faithful adults through online learning and discussion as well as regular one-on-one mentorship from an adult.

A page with much more details and information regarding the School of Formation is coming soon.

In short, young people are encouraged to apply if they are desiring to grow in their faith and are willing to commit to 1) a regular meeting with a mentor and 2) online discussions on topics of the faith.

Youth Retreats

What Is Going Deeper?

Going deeper is a retreat for youth who are actively involved in their parish or have participated in other retreats and events and who have a fervor to grow in the faith. The hope is that participants will experience a much deeper understanding of how to pray and how to know what God is desiring in their life. Further, participants will discover the beauty and practice of God’s heart speaking to yours each and every day. We will be spending time in silence and prayer and will have the opportunity to receive the Sacraments.

This is not a Confirmation Retreat.
