Funeral Liturgy

Our death or that of loved one is something most of us don't want to think about, let alone plan for.  All of us at some point will experience the pain of losing someone we love: Our grandparents, our parents, a sibling, an aunt or uncle. a friend or a child.  Planning ahead minimizes the burden on family members.

Why is pre-plannning your own funeral important?
  •     You want to ease the burden on your family.
  •     You want to assume financial responsibility for your funeral.
  •     You want your family to have the benefit of a meaningful funeral.
  •     You want your final wishes to be followed.
  •     You want to be self-reliant and have your affairs in order at the end of your life.
We invite you to use these beneficial sources: End of Life Planning Guide through the Sioux Falls Catholic Diocese and the Funeral Liturgy Planning Guide based upon the "Through Death to Life" booklet to begin your own planning.
