It helps young people discover the beauty and the purpose of their sexuality, which is fully articulated in Catholic teaching. This program will be kicked off with Coleen Kelly Mast, the programs creator and Catholic Radio Host, speaking at Faith and Real Life on November 6th.  She will also lead the LoveEd Parent Presentation on Thursday, November 7th from 5:45-8pm.  We will continue the events November 13th from 5:45-8pm where 5th and 6th grade moms/daughters and dads/sons come together to learn and grow about these topics of today.  The last event will be on November 20th from 5:45-8pm where the 7th and 8th grade moms/daughters and dads/sons will come together to start meaningful conversations about love, life, sexuality and purity. Turkey Bingo Palooza, a fantastic fundraiser for our school each year before Thanksgiving, will be held on Saturday November 9th at 5:30pm at Holy Name of Jesus Parish Center. Soup and Chili will be served. Bingo begins at 6:15 with many incredible prizes.

Youth in grades 7-12 and adult leaders are invited to the annual Diocesan Youth Conference! Due to the many people who travel for Thanksgiving we will not have Adoration on Wednesday, November 27th –Thursday, November 28th. You are always welcome to still come to the chapel during your time and spend it with Our Lord truly present in the tabernacle.  Begin your holiday festivities with Mass on Thanksgiving Day at 8:30am. As Catholics, Thanksgiving means much more than being grateful to God for the food He provides the body. It is a day that we can dedicate to a higher Thanksgiving, a Eucharistia (a Greek word meaning ‘Good Thanks’) for the Holy Sacrament of His love, the pledge of our eternal life.

Immaculate Conception Advent Parish Mission - We are excited to announce that Monsignor James Shea, president of the University of Mary, will be joining us this Advent for a Parish Mission.  The Mission will be Sunday, December 1st - Tuesday, December 3rd, 7-8pm.  Monsignor will speak on the topic ‘The Blessed Virgin Compared to the Air we Breathe’.   We will learn and experience how Mary reveals Christ to us, how Mary is the channel of God’s mercy and how Mary is the mother of all the faithful.

Advent Candles 12’ tapers and votive blessed advent candles are available in the parish office.
