The Most Holy Trinity Sunday is June 7 - Trinity Sunday is a moveable feast celebrated a week after Pentecost Sunday. Also known as Holy Trinity Sunday, Trinity Sunday honors the most fundamental of Christian beliefs—belief in the Holy Trinity. The human mind can never fully understand the mystery of the Trinity, but we can sum it up in the following formula: God is three Persons in one Nature. There is only one God, and the three Persons of God—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—are all equally God, and They cannot be divided.

The Feast of Corpus Christi is June 14, also known as Solemnity of the Corpus Christi, is a Christian liturgical solemnity celebrating the Real Presence of the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ in the elements of the Eucharist. Two months earlier, the institution of the Eucharist at the Last Supper is observed on Maundy Thursday in a sombre atmosphere where Jesus also washes the feet of the disciples.

Father’s Day falls on June 21The role of a father is often described as a mentor, a guide, or a supportive presence when trying something new.  This blessing may have come from one’s own father, or perhaps from other adults in your life.  For the blessings that fathers provide for their children, and for all those who play a fatherly role in the lives of others, we offer gratitude and, we give thanks for father.  We recognize the dedication and patience it takes to be a source of compassion and understanding when helping to shape a young life.  Bless all fathers, especially those who are new in this sacred role.  May they feel the presence of God with them.        May they know that His strength and wisdom are within them, providing all they need to guide and support their children with kindness and love.

Fear not, for I am with you.  Be not dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you. I will help you.

I will uphold you with the righteousness of my right hand.  Isaiah 41:10

Some Super Heroes do not wear a cape.

They are simply called Dad.

May the day rise up to meet you.

May the toilet fix itself.

May that scary noise in the basement stop.

May the Cheerios in your shoes not be wet,

and may you instill in another tender life the blessings bestowed upon you.
